In this second entry of 'The Talents' series, set in Agrigento, Sicily, 1883, Marlowe has vanished, and when a body is discovered in the shadow of Cairndale, Charlie and the Talents realize there is even more at stake than they'd feared. For not only has a new drughr arisen, but a terrible evil stirs deep in the world of the dead. The Talents will have to work together if they are to have any hope of staving off the world of the dead, and saving their long-lost friend.
